Stallions Fan Event Landing Page

The Springfield Stallions are having a fan event, and they needed an engaging landing page for registration.

Overview

The Springfield Stallions have an annual event that bring fans together to celebrate the team and honor their loyalty and support.

The Challenge

Design a registration landing page that combines the team branding with a desire to register for this annual event. They wanted to highlight the different registration tiers as well as show how fun the event can be and encourages them to register, while also offering important information about the event like date, time, and location.

Pain Points

Opportunities

The site needed multiple opportunities to register for the event, and those opportunities needed to be easy to find.

Registration Types

This event had multiple registration types, and there needed to be a way to recognize each type and keep them distinct.

Information

There is a lot of information available about this event. Too often there is information overload on the main page.

Ideate

Design System

I used the Springfield Stallions brand colors for the website, allowing the brighter colors to "pop" on the page and draw attention to important items like buttons and registration. The site follows a clear hierarchy of headlines and text that not only makes it easier for the user to find information, but also assists accessibility for those with reading or vision issues.

A bright yellow was chosen for the button, as it drew a stark contrast to the black, grey, and teal blue of the rest of the site. It solved the pain point of opportunity, as it draws the eye to all the different places a person could go to sign up for the event.
