CASe STUDYiNSUREDLA is expanding into the real estate market, so they need a website design that can weave the current business offerings in with the new market.
Design a responsive website that connects the insurance, estate planning, and real estate aspects of the business so people understand how each area leads into another.
The website redesign used the brand colors, which are bright and bring a sense of nostalgia and energy.Colors were also used to signify different areas of the business. Green was used for Real Estate, Orange for Insurance, and Blue for Estate Planning.
Poppins was used in various forms throughout the site to maintain consistency as well as provide a simple, easy reading experience for the user.Using bold for headers, regular for text and light for inside buttons allowed me to differentiate areas and provide more accessibility to the user.
Buttons utilized a consistent shape throughout the page, and the colors correspond to each area of the business to maintain consistency and differentiation.
The only icons used on the home page were those for social media and search. There was no need for other icons on this page.
To maintain recognition of the brand, the logo is used as a small identifier at the top of the page as well as the bottom.
Cards were used for each area of the business, and colors remained consistent for each area throughout the page.
Now that the home page has been created and tested, I will move onto designing and testing the remainder of the site for launch.
